A meia-lua de válvula (também chamada chaveta ou cone de válvula) é uma pequena peça metálica semicilíndrica e cónica. Utilizada sempre aos pares (duas meias-luas por válvula), encaixa nas ranhuras da haste da válvula e fixa-se no prato superior da mola. No motor diesel bicilíndrico Kubota que equipa os veículos Aixam e Minauto, estas pequenas chavetas desempenham a importante função de manter a mola comprimida para garantir que a válvula permaneça corretamente fechada.
